Over The Rainbow
Over The Rainbow is an anti-war statement on the War in Iraq. It documents George Bush's lies about the war by taking the film 'The Wizard Of Oz' and actively compares George Bush to the lying wizard in the classic film. This film emphasises what the war has actually done to the ordinary people of Iraq, as well as the soldiers serving there and attempts to depict the war from their point of view, in a completely original and unique way. The theme tune Over The Rainbow emphasises what a country like Iraq could be like without war and as the most famous line in the film is spoken "there's no place like home", this re-emphasises the fact that this is their home!
